This will inform a wider review by the Government of the Resource Management Act starting next year. It will draw on the project&#8217;s already-released working papers and feedback received on them:<\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawfoundation.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/2017_44_5_RMLR-Working-Paper-1_WEB_Feb-2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Working Paper 1<\/a><\/h5>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawfoundation.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/2017_44_5_RMLR-Working-Paper-2_WEB_June-2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Working Paper 2<\/a><\/h5>\n<h5><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lawfoundation.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/2017_44_5_RMLR-Working-Paper-3-WEB_Sept_2018_FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Working Paper 3<\/a><\/h5>\n<p><strong>The Law Foundation has awarded $356,000 towards EDS&#8217;s RMA Review project<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Sustainability Council&#8217;s Gene Drive Study<\/h4>\n<p>The final report for this project suggests that this new pest-eliminating biotechnology should only be introduced after &#8220;collective consent&#8221; is obtained from neighbouring countries.
