Professor Gerald Torres<\/a> from Cornell University NY is touring New Zealand Law Schools in July\/Aug 2014. He is a leading figure in critical race theory, environmental law and federal Indian Law.<\/p>\n Professor Torres will present public lectures at Victoria University Wellington (VUW) Mon 28 July; University of Otago Wed 30 July; and University of Auckland Thurs 31 July. While in New Zealand he will also take part in the *UNDRIP Symposium at Waikato (24\/25 July) and in staff seminars at law schools in Auckland, Wellington and Otago.<\/p>\n “Litigating Climate Change” is the title of Professor Torres’ public lectures at VUW<\/a> , University of Auckland<\/a> and University of Otago. Details about his Otago presentation have yet to be confirmed.
