The New Zealand Law Foundation Doctoral Scholarship aimed to encourage postgraduate study and research in law in New Zealand.<\/h2>\n

This Scholarship is no longer offered and information is provided for historic purposes only.<\/em><\/h4>\n

The scholarship was awarded to doctoral candidates to carry out research in a defined area of the law for the benefit of New Zealand and its legal system. The inaugural award of this scholarship was made in 2011 but then the scholarship was withdrawn. In 2016 it was reviewed and was offered again twice a year until February 2019 under different terms of reference as a \u2018top up’ to the award of an NZ University PhD Scholarship.\u00a0 In total six academics have benefited from this scholarship.<\/p>\n

Value: $10,000 each year for up to three years.<\/p>\n
