Emeritus Professor in Environmental Law Ben Boer from the University of Sydney, the 2011 New Zealand Law Foundation’s Distinguished Visiting Fellow, has confirmed his public lecture series while he is in New Zealand. The dates and venues are:
- 11 April, 6pm Auckland Law Faculty, Stone Lecture Theatre, Level 3, Building 801, 9 Eden Crescent, Auckland – “International Human Rights Norms and Environmental Law”. Refreshments will be served from 5.15pm.
- 14 April, 5.30pm AUT Law School, Level 7, AUT Business School, Cnr Wakefield & Mayoral Drive, Auckland – “Climate Change, Biodiversity and Protected Areas: The need for an integrated approach”. Refreshments will follow.
- 19 April, 5.30pm Otago Law Faculty, Moot Court, Richardson Building, Dunedin – “Climate Change, Biodiversity and Protected Areas: The need for an integrated approach”. A reception function will follow the lecture at 6.30pm.
- 3 May, 5.30pm Victoria Law Faculty, Lecture Theatre 1, Old Government Buildings, 55 Lambton Quay, Wellington – “International Human Rights Norms and Environmental Law”
- 10 May, 6.15pm Te Piringa – Waikato Faculty of Law – “Climate Change, Biodiversity and Protected Areas: The need for an integrated approach”. Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm.
